Sweet Pie Suprise
2/3 cup powdered sugar
1 3 oz package of cream cheese
1/2 tsp almond extract
1 egg
1 3/4 cups Bisquik or other baking mix
2/3 cup semi sweet choc chips
1 can cherry pie filling
1/4 cup vanilla or chocolate chips
2 tsp shortening
Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, almond extract and egg with spoon, stir in baking mix. Pat dough into a 12 in circle on ungreased cookie sheet (you can flute the edges if you want) Bake 8-10 minutes at 400°, until light golden brown.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot crust and bake about 1 minute until chips melt, spread chocolate evenly. Allow it to cool for 5 minutes.
Spread pie filling over chocolate. Heat chips with shortening and drizzle over pie filling.
