Turkey Patties with Gravy
Ground turkey
egg
All purpose seasoning (costco) 2 dashes
dash of garlic powder
salt and pepper
MIX all together.
2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil
1/2 onion thinly sliced
Spray frying pan with non-stick spray, cast iron skillet is preferred.
Add 2 tablespoons of oil and 1/2 of the onions to frying pan. Shape turkey into oblong shape patties about the sides of your palm to finger, smaller if you prefer. Oblong cooks faster than round shaped patties. Cook patties on med heat, turning a few times, but make sure you get a 'brown' on the patties.
Gravy:
Add the rest of the sliced onions to frying pan, cook until almost brown, then add the one can of cream of mushroom soup to the onions and add 1/2 a can of chicken broth to frying pan. Heat to low boil while stirring, add more broth to taste. Return patties to gravy, serve.
Cook's Notes: Green beans compliment this meal. I add about a 1/2 teaspoon of bacon grease to a small pan and lightly brown a few thin slices of onion. Drain all but about a 1/4 of the can of water in beans, add beans to onions, heat well, add dash of pepper, Serve.
