INDOOR GAME HIGHLIGHTS

Rockets vs Flame - Jan 16, 1999

This was the first game of the second indoor session at the Soccer Spectrum in Richardson. Coach Skip said all the girls did a really good job, especially since we moved up to the under 9 division this session, and could still be playing in under 8. Coach says we need the competition and feels we will still have fun and do well in this upper division. The girls definitely had to play faster and the other team was a bit bigger, but they came out on top of this one 7 to 0.
Leslie had 4 big goals, while Samantha, Ellen, and Niki each contributed one. But, as Coach Skip always says, "you can't win without defense", hats off to Brooke, Becky, Amy, Felicia, Corina, and Lisa!! (Yasmeen, one of our best defenders, was sick this game.....but she'll be back)
