Man, I'm up to page 8 in my photo review of this show! Anyways......
Another creative number by Ilia skating to Herbie Hancock....posing as a windup toy coming out of his toybox....
....and that was just as fun to see as it was for him to perform it.
"Blue jean baby, LA lady....." And Tara looked like a young teen back in the 1970s as a hipster on a swingset. Maybe even a flower child of that era. Nice prop in using the swingset...
......and she was magical skating to Elton John's mega hit from that era, too!
Scott's final solo......mixed in with routines from the past such as Cuban Pete, Sabre Dance, I Love Me, etc....and he did it HIS way! After the last backflip, the entire audience stood up and gave him the loudest applause of the night! It was just as noisy as Reunion Rowdies fans have been for their Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks!
Kristi's tribute to Scott.....must be emotional for Scotty each and every night leading up to the final show in Portland, Maine, to see Kristi come out to do this.
The cast did their final group number....which was far better than the previous two final numbers I have seen in person....
.....and, unlike the previous years where Scotty would say, "See you next year!!!".....he never said a word to the audience...instead the facial expressions afterwards said it all.....
....and during the final curtain call, Scotty hugged a close friend of his, Gordon McKellum, who sat just four seats to my right!
What a great show......but the best was yet to come! Click here for the aftershow reception.
