Covered high school sports from football to softball in the city of Garland. Showed insight in covering the contests and showed effort in meeting press deadlines. Served as freelance writer during 1989-1990 school year, part of 1991-1992 school year and when needed by sports editor.
Duties included board operations during morning and evening drive time with satellite music network and production work (putting together commercials and PSAs). Also assisted in board operation duties during sporting events such as local high school sports (Rockwall, Forney, Garland, etc.) college sports (University of Iowa football) and semi-pro sports (Dallas Freeze hockey).
Love watching high school sporting events, especially football, basketball and baseball.
