Cookie October 31, 2009 - March 14, 2009Cookie came to us the same day as Candi did. She, however, was wild as a march hare. She had been found with her siblings underneath the Valero gasoline station sign. It took a few days to catch them all, but the folks at our vet office managed to do so. They called me right after I had picked up sweet Candi and was driving home. My husband said to go ahead and adopt it too, so we swung by the vets' and got her. Scratching and growling most of the time. But she buddied up to Candi so at least she didn't feel too alone. Same age, same color but short haired! Since they were both adopted on Halloween, that's why we named them after goodies given out.

Cookie
Cookie as an adult. She was really friendly with all of the CCI puppies that we brought into our home. Because of that, she helped train them all to enjoy cats. She was found out in the back yard by my husband in the spring of 2019. The coyotes had gotten her. All that remained were her two hind feet and her tail...easily identifiable by her coloration. |
