Hi, this picture was taken June of 1998 at Lake Travis in Austin Texas.
If you looked at the before picture of Kelly before she was diagnosed
with Graves' disease in 1992, you will notice how much better she looks
in June 1998.
By getting the correct treatment and thyroid medication, Kelly felt
much better than she had felt for a very long time.
It took some time, searching for and finding the right doctor for
Kelly to finally go back to normal, or as close as you can get to
normal when you have a thyroid disorder.
The lady standing next to Kelly is Betty Millard.
Betty also has Graves' disease.
