shall we retreat
to sanctuary
and share
our sacred sacrement
seek shelter
from the ferocious elements
and nurse one another
back to health
such a fortunate phenomena
that through
the natural evolution
of our savage existences
our exodus to one another
that our equally perilous
and uncharted paths crossed
and we have found
that together
in symbiotic alliance
we are among the strong
among the higher forms
who can adapt
and tranform
in defense
from their hostile
everchanging environment
to become the conquerers of nature
