This is the classic about two killers who, after taking a small family hostage, escapes the law to Mexico where they can do the big tradeoff and they're home free, but before the tradeoff, they have to deal with the vampires. I'm sure you've all heard this story before. Anyway, this is, well, I wouldn't call it a good movie, but it really doesn't contain much in the way of flaws or giant plot holes. I guess the point I'm trying to make here is that this movie was average and doesn't really warrant a review.
But I'll do it anyway.
George and Quentin are wanted by the law. They have a hostage, and they need to get out of the country quick. Unfortunately for them, Quentin has a tendancy to rape and murder his hostages, which means that they keep having to get new ones. George, being the smart one, takes an ex-minister and his son and daughter hostage. That way, if Quentin has to rape and kill someone, they still have two left. They also have an RV. So, the five of them hit the road and get to the border where Cheech lets them through.
So, they get to their destination where Cheech is out front going on about how great the place is. The start to celebrate and George does something to upset one of the people there. Suddenly most of the people turn into vampires, and there's a big fight in which the ex-minister and Quentin are bitten. George kills Quentin, and they all go hide in a storage room filled with all kinds of anti-vampire weapons. The Ex-minister, while still in human form, blesses some water, and they fill a bunch of squirt guns and condoms. The daughter finds a crossbow, and they carve crosses into bullets. They're all set to go. They fight the vampires again and lose everyone but George and the daughter. Here's what I don't get. They use condoms as water balloons, but condoms are specifically designed to not burst. I wonder who made these condoms....
Anyway, morning comes and they escape. Cheech pays George off, and George gives the daughter a cut of the money. The end.
It's actually a pretty funny movie, but, like I said, not that great.
