It's a movie called Tank Girl. What more could you want? Lori Petty plays Tank Girl, a wise-cracking freedom fighter who steals a tank and, with the help of her friend, Jet Girl (who has a stolen jet, obviously) and about a dozen mutant kangaroo people, rescues her sister and avenges the death of her boyfriend.
The movie is thick with bad jokes, crappy alternative rock, and comic book sequences (which, I must admit, were pretty well done).
You know, I keep thinking Malcolm McDowell is a good respectable actor. This is, of course, based on his performance in Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange. Then I see him in movies like Caligula, Star Trek: Generations, and Tank Girl. Honestly, what self-respecting actor would choose those roles?
Anyway, Tank Girl was a stupid movie, but it was to be expected. It is called Tank Girl, after all.
