Fundraising activities give us the money that we need to run the chapter, attend state-level meetings, and give scholarship money to our local members. Contact Daryl Griffin to get involved for the fundraising dates for our San Jose Shark project.

Service activities are an important part of AGS. We try to help out both our campus and the surrounding communities. Service points are earned by participating in group projects, but members can also perform service activities individually. Any other volunteer service you will need to contact VP Megan Marcy.

Social activities give members a chance to meet and form social bonds. Because the group composition changes from semester to semester, the social activities vary more than either of the other two types. Our Fall Introductory Social at PF Chang's Chinese Bistro was a great success with 27 members in attendance. In addition to our chapter activities, we sometimes try to schedule joint ventures with other nearby chapters and clubs as we did with the Latino Student Alliance in El Dia de los Meurtos Meadow Homes Presentation.
