Television
As I sit and watch the television
I remember a wise person
Who once told me that
Television is poison and will steal you soul
He told me a story
Of a man with a television
The man watched the TV
From the time he got home
Then one day
The television just quit
The man became angered
And went to the video store
He complained to the clerk
But the man did not know what to do
He said Im sorry sir but I cannot help you
The man became further infuriated
He drug the clerk out in the alleyway
When there he pulled a gun
And shot the clerk in the head
From this day on he was no longer free
What is a television
A television is poison
It will steal your soul and freedom
And when you see me remember this
I now sit behind bars
Made of steel and cannot
Even get a drink of water
Unless I'm told it's okay
So remember not to give up your freedom
The television is not worth it
It would have cost very little
But instead it cost my life.
