Silent memories,
whispers on the wind ~
haunt me in my dreams.
Will this never end?
Night's peaceful calm falls ~
yet I can find no rest.
Silent memories
do put my heart to test.
A doorway to destruction
silent memories can bring.
A love so deeply lost ~
such a painful, tragic thing.
Silent memories cry out ~
so harsh and so strong.
Can a heart be mended,
when broken for so long?
And, if per chance ~
silent memories finally sleep,
will someday there be a love
that is mine to keep?
