Gotenks is created from Trunks and Goten. Gotenks is formed in hopes of finally stopping the evil Majin Buu from destroying the earth. Gotenks is a very strong character; however, his ego tends to get the best of him. When encountering Majin Buu for the first time, Gotenks gets dropped pretty easily, however later on, Gotenks is able to stand a chance against him. Since Gotenks is fused by two saiyans, he has the ability to turn super saiyan. When Super saiyan, Gotenks is one of the strongest fighters ever in the DBZ series. But stated as before, his cockiness gets the best of him and it shows during the fights he has with buu.
