This movie is the first and ONLY time Son Gokou and Vegeta used Fusion without the Potara earrings. In the afterworld, Gokou participates in a fighting tournament and defeats most of the people with ease...elsewhere in the afterworld the evil souls who are going to hell must go into a big laundry machine that washes away thier evil auras and stores them into tanks. The person in charge of changing the tanks when they get full slacks off and the tanks get destroyed and he gets posessed by a demon crime-lord named Janenba. Janenba changes the afterworld laws and dead people (Juliet,Dracula,Hitler,Freeza, and past enemies the Z warriors have encountered) come back to life back on Earth. Gohan,Videl,Trunks,and Goten are called upon to stop the dead people so they gather the Dragonballs and summon Shen Long to return everything back to normal. But Shen Long tells them that he doesn't have the power to fix the problem. Back in the afterworld, Gokou and his opponent are called to investigate the problem. They teleport to where Enma Diaoh is and they find Janenba. Gokou begins fighting Janenba and finds out that he is a worthy oppenent so Gokou turns SSJ3 and defeats him with ease until Janenba changes into his second form. They fight for a long period of time and Gokou seriously gets beaten up and is about to die when Vegeta shows up and fights Janenba. Vegeta gets defeated and Gokou tells him in order to defeat him they must fuse together but Vegeta refuses but later reconsiders. They both fly far away from Janenba and Gokou teaches Vegeta the fusion stance. They both try it out but Vegeta screws up and they fuse into a fat fusion form and they get beat up by Janenba. Now they have to wait 30 minutes untill fusion wears off so they can try it again. Meanwhile back on Earth, Gohan has just found Freeza and punches a hole in him and Goten and Trunks are attacking the reborn Hitler. Back in the afterlife fusion wears off and Gokou and Vegeta have another chance to perform fusion but they don't have the opportunity to because Janenba is too close; so Gokou's opponent (Pikehan) jumps in and gives Gokou and Vegeta enough time to perform fusion. They do it correctly this time and instead of the "fusion product" being Vegetto, it is someone else called Gojita. On Earth Goten and Trunks fuse and they deploy thier Ghosts of Kamekaze Attack to take care of Hitler. In the afterlife Gojita defeats Janenba using an energy ball and everything returns to normal.
