Piccolo is a Namek. He is kind of a Good/Bad guy for a while. He hates Goku and the rest of his family, but he helps them and fights along side with them to save the earth. He kidnapped Gohan to train him before Vegeta and Nappa got to Earth. Actually Piccolo did not exactly train him. He just threw him in the wilderness and gave him a sword. After that Gohan became very powerful. In the fight against the Ginyu Force, he was the only one left fighting. Blow after blow to the chest and head, Gohan kept getting up. Piccolo starts to beomce a liking to Goku and his friends. One of the only People he used to like was Gohan. Gohan liked him too but hated the fact that he was so silent and rough and never wanted to take a rest and play. Gohan is very respectful to him. He's always saying please and Mr. Piccolo instead of PICCOLO! Piccolo is kind of a half part of another Namek named Kame. If Piccolo dies then Kame dies too, and vice-versa. The Dragon Balls will dissapear if one of them dies. But there are still other Dragon Balls. Ones and Namek and Ones in Space too.
