Hoover VFD Welcomes New Members
Hoover Volunteer Fire Department welcomes new members Coleton Bolin and Darion Snell.
These young men were voted in at the November 2010 meeting.
Certifications and Achievements
The Hoover VFD Fire Department is proud to announce that we now have
12 state accredited Advanced Firefighters,
7 state accredited Basic Firefighters and 3 state accredited Intermediate Firefighters.
Hoover is also proud to announce
that we now have three National Registered Basic EMTs.
Congratulations to Capt. Wayne Hindes for receiving his state certification for
Fire Investigation. Capt. Hindes has put many hours
into working towards this certification.

you have put in with HVFD.

Hoover VFD Earns Life Safety Achievement Award: 2008-2009
The award recognizes local fire prevention activities that contributed to
reducing number of lives lost in residential fires.
