About Me
So, you want to know more about me, huh? Well, for one I'm
unpredictable at times. But, then again, who isn't? I mean,
for the most part I'm just an average kinda guy. Single and unattached.
I live in a suburb, I guess, of Austin, TX. I've lived here in the Austin
area for close to 3 years. I did leave this wonderful part of Texas for
about 8 months because of financial difficulties. I'm a 21 year old
Hispanic male. I have a bunch of dislikes and pet peeves. Chief among
them being woken up in the morning by anyone. So, if you have my phone
number...use it wisely :) I have jet-black hair and deep, dark brown eyes.
I am about 5'10" tall and wiegh 230 pounds. I guess you consider myself
to be a big boy. One thing I like to brag about myself is my ability
in the kitchen. I looove to cook and am proud to say that I'm quite the
chef. Well, maybe that's going a bit too far. But, I can cook very well
and I've not had a complaint yet. My specialty, of course, is Mexican
Food. Although, there are still many dishes I wish to be able to make,
I've not gotten the oportunity to do so. But, don't worry. I'll get
cookin' one of these days! Let's get to know me a bit better, shall we?
Good :) I'd have to say that at the core of it all, I'm a pretty decent
guy. I have high morals and I'd like to think of myself as an upstanding
citizen. I was raised Catholic and still believe in everything I was taught.
But, like most of us, I'm merely human. I do make mistakes and I can be a
real pain in the neck and a big jerk. Did I tell you that I liked football?
No? Well, I like football :) I'm a major fan of football! Actually, I'm a major
sports fan! I love to watch all the major sports. Heck, my favorite channel
on TV is ESPN! But, the big thing for me is football. I have such a passion
for that game that at times it seems that that's all that matters. I know it
sounds kinda crazy, but that's how it feels at times. My other big thing
is comic books. I love to read them! Especially, The Incredible Hulk.
I mean, I grew up with Hulk images everywhere! There was just something
that put him above every other super hero I read about. I guess I always
admired the man behind the monster. I mean, Bruce Banner
(the Hulk's better half), was just an ordinary scientist. Just a plain,
average guy looking for a girlfriend. Instead, his life got turned
upside down and inside out. Within him resided a monster. Most of us have
these monsters in us all the time. But, we choose not to show it to the world.
I mean, look at it this way: we all have a bad side to us.
We all have something we hide from everyone else.
We hide it very deeply in our concious mind. No one
and sometimes not even ourselves, know what kind of
monster we carry. Well, Bruce Banner doesn't have that
choice. His darker half comes out for the world to lay
eyes on. And the fact that Bruce didn't blow his brains out
is a testament to the will of the human spirit. Because he
chose to live and fight for a cure he's one of the bravest souls
anyone's ever known. Now, I know that I'm just talking about a
fictional comic book character, but what if there's a
'Bruce Banner' out there right now? What if this
'Bruce Banner' just found out he has cancer? I would
admire this person tremendously. Courage and bravery
aren't common among us. But, every now and again, a
'Bruce Banner' comes out and shows the world
what it's like to be a hero. Sometimes, I wish I
could be a Bruce Banner.
