I was born near Monterrey, California, and raised in San Jose, the heart of the Silicon Valley. My dad is a retired carpenter and my mom was a homemaker. We moved to my dad's hometown, Waco, Texas when he retired in 1978. One night in January 1981, while out at a club called 'The Fog' I picked up my husband Dave 
We've been married going on 23 years and have three sons. Two were born in Texas, one in Ohio.
People call me as an artist. I don't use that term myself. I'm a decorative painter, and craftsman. Craftsperson? Whatever True... I love my power tools & paintbrushes, but I'm equally infatuated with my sewing machine, camcorder, and computer. In fact I have quite a collection of graphic design programs these days and enjoy them as much as any other medium.  I'm a "housewife with hobbies".
 I love to read, and what I love to read the most is popular fiction This doesn't make me a bad person, just common. Some of my favorite authors include ~ Stephen King ~ ~ Tabitha King ~ ~ Dean Koontz ~ ~ Frank Peretti ~ ~ Jonathon Kellerman ~ ~ Faye Kellerman ~ ~ J.K. Rowlings ~ You get the idea. And let's not forget J.R.R. Tolkien I just finished the 'Left Behind' series, the 10 books that were out prior to 2003, and I enjoyed them very much.
MY OTHER HOBBIES INCLUDE 
I prefer to do cartoon character cakes. Gardening and collecting salt and pepper shakers. I have around 70 sets. 
Spending time around high school to college age people exposes me to some of the more entertaining things on the net. Like taking personality tests when you're bored. Here are some of my test results.
