Dad's a middle child, his older sister and younger brother live here in Waco too.
He did his share of hell-raising in his youth. I don't have any clear pictures to share, but he used to race dirt trackers
back in the 1950's. (At least I think it was the 50's. It may have been the late 40's.)
I do know that it was the late 40's
and into 1950 that he was riding the rodeo, along with his first wife. I have blurry pictures of him bull riding. They have a son together,
my half-brother Freddy.
Back in those days dad worked in a body shop and as an auto mechanic, he even owned a gas station at one point.
But before all of that took place, he was a Marine during WWII.
