on August 5, 1868. He was probably born in Clay County Texas,
around the town of Henrietta. It is also possible he was born in
Grayson county around the town of Whitesboro,
but it would have been one of these two places.
Albert was a resident of Waco Texas, in 1870. He along with his mom, dad and sister Mary were all listed on the 1870 census of McClennan County Texas and the post office was listed as Waco. If Albert Lee ever knew that he lived there, he never communicated it to his family.
Alberts knew his mother but for a short time, she passed away in February of 1877 when he was only 9 years old. By 1880 Albert is listed along with his siblings in Jack County Texas.
