She dotes on guys, spends many an hour daydreaming instead of doing homework and spends an inordinate amount of time consuming food. The words crybaby and klutz also tend to be used when describing her. Then she saved Luna, a black talking cat with a golden cresent on it's head, for a mob of unruly children and her life changed. Usagi finds out through her ventures as Sailor Moon that she is the princess of the moon and the future queen of earth. Usagi goes to Juuban (Crossroads) Junior High School with Ami and Mako, although Mako is in another class. This is also the school where Usagi's best friend Naru (Molly) goes. As mentioned before, Usagi spent a great deal of time doting on guys, such as Motoki (Andrew). However, her one true love is Mamoru (Darien) although she tends to call him Mamo-chan. Usagi loves and cares about every one of the senshi dearly, although she has had problems with a few of them at one time or another. In the beginning, Usagi and Rei had a power struggle over leadership and Usagi still thinks of her as bossy at times. Then to make things worse, Terra came along and the power struggle started all over again. Usagi biggest problem however was with the outer senshi, Sailor Uranus in particular. Sailor Uranus saw Sailor Moon as an obstacle that kept getting in her mission to find the talismen and had threatened to kill her. As was to be expected, Luna became Sailor Moon's guardian cat. Luna is a very serious cat who takes the sailor senshi mission with utmost importance. There isn't a day that goes by where Luna isn't nagging Usagi about something much to Usagi's dismay. As much of an annoyance Luna may seem to Usagi, they both care about each other deeply. One thing that is odd about Luna is that unlike the other guardians who stick to their senshi like glue, Luna can sometimes be found with Ami instead. Many believe Luna does this to keep her sanity. |
