Midnight Dream
Night time has come I’m waiting for you
Once again to feel your love so sweet
I sit here and I wait feeling so blue
Wishing it was possible to meet.

Remembering your present given to me of love
The electrifying feeling generated by your touch
Has my heart flying in the clouds above
Now I’m craving your love ever so much.

Your love is like none I’ve ever known
Almost like the dream I’ve had for so long
When you are near I feel your breath upon my skin
It sends me to far away places I’ve never been.

It’s terrible when you are so far away
The minutes and hours turn into days
The nights are so long and lonely
My soul starts to ache for you only.

I fall asleep, that’s when you fill my dreams
You are beside me looking so deeply into my eyes
Silent words are all that’s spoken it always seems
Our feelings so deep they are hard to describe.

This feeling of love and of trust
I am whispering in your ear
Those sweet words never spoken between us
As you hold me ever so close my dear.

And then I awaken, another day I promise to keep
Still feeling the glorious love that we share
Yet for now our pathway is troubled and steep
These halls alone I wander longing for your tender care.

Someday, we’ll be able to more than dream
We’ll be together at last singing our song
Knowing how our love was worth waiting for
And we’ll be together forever more.

Till then here for you I’ll always be
Our hearts meeting somewhere along the way
As I Send my love from a distance
Forever locked in this wonderful embrace.

No longer will the days or nights seem so long
Sad tears no longer I shall weep
We’ll be together at last singing our song
Then we can stop sharing only a midnight dream.
