Kelly Dietz, a very attractive 17 year old Pennslyvania girl, has been singing in front of live audiences with her grandfathers country western band since she was 5 years old. The bluesy tone of her voice provides a unique sound that is unlike any of the country artists performing today. When she sings people listen, and she has a large following of fans near her hometown. Kelly's first trip to Nashville in February 1998 was meant to be a learning experience, but she attracted a large amount of attention and soon began recording both in Nashville and at home. She has recorded 8 songs so far and is now working on another project in Pennsylvania with accomplished singer/songwriter Dave Hanner of the Corbin/Hanner band. Dave has written several top hits for groups such as Alabama, the Oak Ridge Boys, and singer Don Williams. The latest project was necessary because Kelly's voice has matured since turning 17 and her confidence is high after performing live with Shania Twain in Pittsburgh before nearly 25,000 fans. |

Kelly won the opportunity to perform at Shania Twain's concert by submitting a cassette tape along with 200-300 other contestants singing "What Made You Say That" from Shania's first album. Local radio station Y108 (WDSY-FM) sponsored the contest. She will be performing at John Michael Montgomery's concert, July 17, 1999. Kelly's goal is to become a professional recording artist, from the sound of this song playing, I believe she will make it. |

Congratulations Kelly on winning that contest so the rest of us are able to enjoy your talent also. |
