My best bro.. Richard
We've seen some really good and REALLY bad
times together. A true friend. Love ya man.
My mom and Aunt Ancie enjoying the view. No
swimming in these beautiful waters unless you want to BE lunch for
the sharks that infest this Indian Ocean. They are a bit north of
Durban on the Natal Coast in South Africa (the place of my birth..
actually I was born in Pretoria.. the captital city)
I was still trucking here... (really feelin the
pressure and gettin pretty damn skinny) I know, cause I gave this
t-shirt to some simple minded dude a truck stop in Misissippi (I
think it was MS.) because he was a fan and down on his luck. Guess
it made his day. Thats my Dad in the middle. The strong silent
type, fighting diabetes himself.. who knows what else cause he
never complains. Probably the last truly honest man on the planet
and a great support. He was also Best Man at my wedding, (with my
two brothers as groomsman) Thanks Dad. Once again, my little bro.

HAD to throw this in.. :-)... 99 Peterbilt with a
pretty big motor and a 13 speed overdrive trans. (no "chicken
lights" yet) Sure liked the left lane and the highway patrol sure
liked to chase me out of it!.. OOOPS!... Anyhow, this was the last
truck I drove over the road and I miss it BIG time.
Sorry, but as much as I LOVE Texas, we aint got a beach that compares to something like this near Amanzimtoti. (South Africa again if you havent figured that out)... Once again, NO SWIMMING!... tempting as it may look.
