Darkness falls on owl's wings
Beware of snow bear's sharpened claws
Listen to the tread of red wolf's paws
Hear the cry that striped cat sings
Red tail circles high above
Seeks his prey the white wing dove
Prepare for war but pray for peace
Let us give this world new lease
Open heart and spread your love
Falcon swoops in mid-flight
Loon voices echo in the night
Ancient bones protrude from earth
Future brave sleeps by his hearth
White tail disappears from sight
Visions seen through eagle eyes
Prayers of thanks in tobacco ties
Weathered oak standing guard
Warbler's egg holds new bard
