VETERANS' LINKS

20th Century Warriors  American Indians have participated with distinction in United States military actions for more than 200 years.

Charles Chibitty  Honored by the Department of Defense on 30 Nov 99 as the last surviving World War II Army Comanche code talker.

Celebrating Native American Veterans  In November we honor Native Americans and their contribution to our national heritage, and on November 11 we do the same for veterans who gave so much in service to their country. As these two observances overlap, so too do the particular contributions of Native Americans to the defense of our nation.

Native American Women Veterans  Women In Military Service For America Memorial Foundation is encouraging Native American women veterans to register with the Memorial so that their stories may be recorded and preserved.

For more related links, see the Veterans' Links page.

This page is dedicated to all past, present, and future Native American Veterans. Thank you for your service.
