The
64th Field Artillery Battalion -- 25th Infantry Division
was stationed in Nara, Japan
I Served in Hq. & Hq. Btry. in the Lasion Section.
The Battional was shipped to Korea June 5th 1950.
After a year in Korea I was rotated home and
assigned to Ft. Sill, OK.
The 64th FA Bn. was comprised of 5 Batteries
Headquarters, Able, Baker, Charlie, and Service
the basic weapon was the 105 mm Towed How.
The Bn. supported the 35th Inf Regt. of the Div.
