Hello. My name is Dustin Michael Hale. I was born on May 25, 1999.
My parents are David Martin Hale and Kaylyn Mechelle Hale
I was born at John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas. I had
a few problems when I was born and was in Neonatal Intensive care.
I am doing better now. I came home from the hospital on June 6, 1999.

My Grandma Lorrie named me "Punkin" the day she found out I was on the way. I have been "Punkin" since then.
TODAY is nov.1.99 I am now 5 months old and I am right at 20 pounds. I can grab, yell, and fuss at my parents. My grandma Lorrie calls me "Gordo." My grandpa calls me "Booger." Next update in about a month or so....
I'm getting fat and I love to be with my mommy and daddy. My grandpa love's to do patty cake with me and my memaw just tries to sing to me. All my grandma Lorrie wants to do is hold me and love me. She tries to take me any chance she gets. I will update later when I learn to walk...for now this will have to do....

This is me in Neonatal Intensive Care at 4 days old.
This is me about 15 minutes before I go home with Mommy and Daddy for good.
Punkin
This is me at 5 months old,I am right at 20 pounds. I can roll from front to back, back to front, sit up, grab everything in sight, spit and sputter, and I laugh all the time. I am a very happy baby.
Here I am at "1" year old. I am walking and trying to talk now. I can say" Dada, Mama, bye bye, baba(bottle), uh oh, dog", I can shake my head "No", play peek a boo, feed myself finger foods, rock in the rocking chair, say "Papa", "no no, yea yea", I can play patty cake and peek a boo real good now. I can click my toungue and make all kinds of funny faces. I am a Grandma's boy. I am getting to be a big boy now.
Here I am again at 17 months. I am walking, talking, and getting into everything. I can say "Daddy, Mama, Papa, Grandma(Gamaw), Mandy(mammy), Daniel, Dusty, Punkin, baby, drink, water, cow, moo, pig, bunny, out, bye bye, talk, bite, no no, night night, pillow, horsie, puppy, fishie, Darlene, Debbie, butt butt(tried tocall Debbie buddy), Jan, bark bark, milk, drink, uh oh, bath, A, B, C, one, two, and down". There are probably a few more, but Grandma is having a hard time remembering them all right this minute. I love to look at pictures, especially of babies. I love books about animals. I can raise my eyebrows up and down multiple times. I know where my eyes, ears, nose, chin, elbow, knee, hand, and belly button is. I can climb, run, jump, dance, and get into everthing I am not supposed to. I love to play on Grandma's computer. When the phone rings at night I always think it is Papa calling to talk to me. I am expecting a baby sister (we hope it is a sister) in June 2001.
New Update! I have a baby sister. Samantha Mechelle Hale was born May 24, 2001, in Ft. Worth, Texas. I love being a big brother. We moved to a new apartment and now I have my own room. I love talking on the phone. I will have some new pictures of me and Samantha as soon as we can.

My first outing was going to Pancho's with the family on June 6, 1999.
I went with Mommie and Daddy to Lake Whitney to see Grandma, Aunt Darlene and Uncle Billy on June 20,1999.
I made a trip with Grandma to see Great-Grandma, DonnaMae Davis, on June 20,1999.
My nickname is "Punkin", and I was a Punkin for Halloween, October 31, 1999.
I started walking on Mothers' Day. I walked to my Grandma Lorrie.
