Chyna leaves 'Pac Blue' cast black & blue

Already the first woman ever to hold the Intercontinental Championship, Chyna continues to break ground as she broadens her horizons and appears on "Pacific Blue."

Chyna recently completed filming for an episode that will air early next year. She plays Tonya Sweet, a jewel thief who, once arrested, continually beats up the male police officers.

"Blue" is a Los Angeles-based police action series that airs Sundays at 8 p.m./7 p.m. CT, immediately following Sunday Night HEAT, on USA Network.

"It's fun to do something a little bit different," said the Ninth Wonder of the World as she relaxed between takes on the set. "It's kind of neat to be able to do some acting outside of what we do."

It's the first acting gig for the Intercontinental Champion, who described her character on the show as "very much like Chyna." So it wasn't surprising that she did all her own stunts, something that led to a few bruises for her male counterparts.

"She's kind of strong," said Mario Lopez, who plays Bobby Cruz, as she showed off the black and blue marks on his pectorals. "I'm gonna take her on next time. But I'm going to say everything nice so she doesn't get mad and want to take her aggression out on me. She's very into the role, so we have a long day. Wish me luck."

Commented Shanna Moakler, one of the more attractive female stars of the show, "When you watch the fight between her and Mario, you'll see his eyes like a deer in the headlights. He can't believe he's getting thrown around like that."

Chyna said she enjoyed herself, wasn't nervous, and looks forward to more acting in the future.

"I love what I do but I would certainly love to expand and do other things and make myself as big of a star as I could possibly be," she said.

At least one cast member -- Lopez -- would love to have her back. That's because he wants to hit her up for WrestleMania tickets. Lopez is a big Federation fan who has sat ringside at Federation events -- once even getting into a scuffle with Val Venis. WrestleMania 2000 takes place April 2 at the Arrowhead Pond in nearby Anaheim, Calif.

Chyna isn't the first Federation Superstar to appear on "Pacific Blue." In fact, when Triple H guest starred for one episode, "Pac" earned its highest rating, an achievement that stands to this day -- at least until Chyna's episode airs.
