My first meeting with WWF superstars! I walked to the Toys R Us they were at and I got there at 4:30 a.m.! They were signing autographs at 10 a.m., but I wanted to make sure I was one of the first in line! I was since Fruiton saved a spot for me. Anywhoo, we got on each other's nerves until about 9:30 a.m. when they opened the doors to let us in the building. My God it was nerve-wracking! I was 4th in line of about 2500 fans and as soon as I saw them walk out at 10, my mind went blank and I just stood there open-mouthed and quiet. The first one I went up to was Edge. He was really nice, as was Christian! Then I went to Test, who was a complete dickhead. A "hello" would have given me some recognition for risking my life and walking in the dark in the city at 4 a.m.! It was really worth it, though, mainly since Edge and Christian were so polite.
I really didn't think I was gonna see either of these two since nobody wanted to travel 50 miles to see Y2J. But the nite before my friend Sarah said that she'd go. She picked me up at 6 a.m. and we drove down to the bus station, where we'd get a bus going to the trains. We got on the bus at 6:30 a.m. and arrived at the train station to get to Mississauga. After asking some strangers, we got on the right train and got off at the right stop, which is pretty impressive! After that, we had NO idea how to get to the Toys R Us (another one!) where Chris was gonna be so we just took an expensive taxi! Right before I went up to him, I thought my knees were gonna give out on me and my mind went blank (again!). He was really nice and polite (and hubba hubba!), so it was all worth it! After finally getting out of Toys R Us, we decided to see where Bret Hart was gonna be. After a long time of searching, we finally found the Playdium. The line wasn't as long as the Jericho's but what are ya gonna do. We were allowed in and waited in line somewhere else. Bret came out right beside us! However, Sarah and I had not-so-great pics of Bret for him to autograph, considering we thought we'd only see Jericho. He was nice, but he gave Sarah a weird look for her pic of him (you have to see it)! So all in all, it was a grrreat day! And I made it back alive! I'm responsibly mature! :o)
