FAIR: Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting is a national media-watchdog group that offers media criticism. FAIR publishes Extra! magazine. Lots of great stuff. Freedom Forum's Media Studies Center: This site is devoted to improving understanding between the media and the public. Lots of articles about the state of journalism and links to forums, roundtables, publications and research articles. Media Critique: This page is by a Newark, Ohio, curmudgeon -- and former photographer, editor and flack -- who is retired but writes about what's good and bad in what he sees in the newspaper.
