FAST Search: All the Web All the Time: Extremely fast search engine. The only problem I have is it seems to have more than its fair share of dead links. General subjects.

Jeeves: Multi-search engine searcher that gives you radio-button options. A lot of people love this little butler. I only like him.

Google: Another multi-search engine hunter getting rave reviews.

PortalSeek Network - Specialized Portals to the WWW: Brand new (June 14, 1999) search engine page that's linked to specialized portal directories. It's a good idea, but there are not a lot of links there yet. I'm hoping this will become useful.

GALILEO: Meta search site for everything under the sun. Fast and vast.

Ready Reference Using the Internet: Alphabetically listed subjects. Vast. From the Winsor School (Boston) Director of the Library Ellen Berne.

Desk Top Reference Agent: Huge number of links, including well-organized search-engine links. From MIT.

Resource Central: Tons of information links listed on a variety of subjects.
