Written for a very wonderful man.

My Poem To You

I'm not asking for forever
Just what we have today.
Tomorrow is not promised
Is what they always say.
So if this is all true
And today is all but gone.
Can I tell you that I need you
That I don't want to be alone.
You are always in my heart
And always on my mind.
I would give you my everything
If you can find the time.
I can promise you a lifetime
Coz I have it to give.
My lifetime could be short or long
Without you i exist but do not live.
So if you want to take this chance
To see if our love will grow.
I don't want to lose this time
I just wanted you to know.

Don't-You-Worry

There's a town called Don't-You-Worry,
On the banks of River Smile;
Where the Cheer-Up and Be-Happy
Blossom sweetly all the while.
Where the Never-Crumble flower
Blooms beside the fragrant Try,
And the Ne'er-Give-Up and Patience
Point their faces to the sky.
In the valley of Contentment,
In the province of I-Will,
You will find this lovely city,
At the foot of No-Fret Hill.
There are thoroughfares delightful
In this very charming town,
And on every hand are shade trees
Named the Very-Seldom-Frown.
Rustic benches quite enticing
You'll find scattered here and there,
And to each a vine is clinging
Called the Frequent-Earnest-Prayer.
Everybody there is happy
And is singing all the while,
In the town of Don't-You-Worry,
On the banks of River Smile.

Where is Don't-You-Worry?

Please point to the town of Don't-You-Worry
Coz thats where I want to go
I'm lost in the town of Being-In-A-Hurry
For this town I'm way to slow.
People here they never smile,
Everyone here wears a frown
I always have to hide my face
Whenever I come to town.
No sounds of laughter do you hear
In this town of frowning Faces
No music, or joyous noise
Heard here nor near by places.
Just the hustle and bustle
Of the constant daily rat race
You will never see a smile
And barely see their face.
So tell please if you will
The way to the river Smile
So I can have a little rest
and peace for a while.
