Der Apparat

I did this as an extra credit assignment for my City of Dreams class. It's the torture device from Franz Kafka's "In the Penal Colony." Yeah.

Well, whatever I was thinking. It wasn't what I had in mind at all! I ended up with a cutesy torture device. I mean, Ooooh, how scary and intimidating! Bleh. I decided to dedicate this drawing to Kenny Lin. Two reasons: I drew it near his birthday, and I had a dream about him recently.
