I told Susan that her surprise gift was probably going to make her upset, so she was understandably apprehensive when opening it. She figured there would be snakes involved.
And why might this upset Susan? Well, she's been writing her own Rumpelstiltskin parodies for the past three years. That's why. (By the way, I highly recommend both my sister's and Vande Velde's versions.) |
