I know it took me a while to get started on this shit(reviews),but here we go.I'd like to thank all the bands that send me their material and hopefully,my reviews won't piss them off too much

Antidote

Straight out from Amsterdam,Holland,Antidote is a hardcore punk band in the same vein of early G.B.H.,Disorder or the Varukers...All the songs are fast paced,and make you wanna grab a gun and shoot the first cop in sight.You don't need no speed when you listen to this shit.It's all energy,anger and mayhem.You can order their first full length vinyl album at charged records.I like the shit out of it.Ranking:****1/2

Les ordures ioniques

This band is from Quebec,in Canada,and sing in their native tongue(French),thing that I like in a band.Their sound is clean,tight as hell,they alternate the singers(one guy and one chick)and somehow remind me of Banlieu rouge or even Berurier noir(don't ask why).It's kind like real fast,catchy Oi!,with a hint of metal in it,but not too much.Worth checking out.Ranking:****

The Stillborns

77 pogo street punk 2 piece band from Indiana(they use a drum machine),these mother fuckers will rock you off your feet.Some of their earlier stuff kinda sound like the Ramones,but their newer material is more original and faster,as Chuck seems to have learned how to play guitar better down the road.His voice is raunchier than Joe Strummer's and he seems like he's ready to puke at each word coming out of his mouth.I went to visit this guys in their home town and they're damn good fellows too.Ranking:****

Les Baudouins morts

These are the Dead kennedys of Belgium....No,really,only by name.I believe that they are an all acoustic band,playing musical styles ranging from pop folk,to surf to weird shit,but even sometimes the beat and back up vocals remind me of some Oi!.They sing in Dutch and they're lyrics are political/porno.Very original.It's the kind of stuff you have to listen to a few times,but then,it grows on you.I like it!OK?Ranking:***1/2

Faroutski

Another band from Belgium,more like straight up rock n'roll,a la Nashville pussy or Reo Speeddealer.The songs are catchy,even though they don't play the same three chords all the time,and their lyrics are funnier than shit.Too good!!!Ranking****

Apunkalypse

Obnoxious!

Another band from France,but thanx krishna,10 times better than the other one.This is a two piece band playing straight up hard core punk with a clean tight sound.The singer's name is Wattie,and,not too surprisingly,the music will remind you of the latest Exploited stuff.Anyway...They're bad ass!Ranking****1/2

Dead end

This is Wattie from Obnoxious!'newer band(Obno split up while back),and it's a totally different style of music also.But guess what?It's still good!Wattie is a talented little mother fucker and it seems that eveything he touches turns good.Dead End's sound is more melodic and the tempo slowed down quit a bit,but you can still feel a good dose of hate and arrogance out of it.Way to go!Ranking*****

The Goddamn Ditchdiggers(Rough Trade zine#1)

These guys are like all fucked up and off the wall with their CD.I couldn't figure out 'til Phil told me it was the same band.The CD got played until 6 in the mother fucking morning then we ran out of beer and had to go to sleep.A great CD....

Swine System(Rough Trade zine #1)

another rare and raw find that I got my little hands on.This is as near complete chaos comes anymore,and I LIKE IT!This one is from DITCHDIGGIN'RECORDS too I think.Worth checking out.(DDR note:Sorry,dude...out of print until further notice...)

The $ore Loser$(Rough Trade zine #1)

Ummmmm,I don't know what the title of this cd is,I got it on a tape.Pretty good songs,really hard and with a lot of work going on.Sounds really familiar,can't place it though...Would have to also recomend this one and if anyone figures out who they sound like,TELL ME!!!Available from Ditchdiggin'records.

Dr Green

I'm not usually a big ska fan,but I must admit that I was positively surprised when i stuck this in my tape deck.They have some what of a two tone sound,but more up to date,and they mix a little rock with it.It reminds me of Madness on speed,if you know what I mean...They are from Lithuania and sing in their native tongue(Polish?),Spanish and English.The singer 's voice is pretty damn rowdy too.Ranking:***1/2
