Prologue

—The Banishment War—

            Thousands of years ago, an epic war erupted.  The conflict lasted only several years before it’s intensity left the world desolate.  It was at that time the few remaining wizards created a magical barrier that would trap evil while others started magical experiments to manipulate time and space.  The wizards then combined their powers to thrust out the evil that plagued the world. In the end, evil was banished to another realm.  

—The Creation of the Dark Realm—

            The evil that devastated the world had been shattered, but quickly healed in a world where evil was unknown.  The skies darkened soon after evil had taken root.  Empires crumbled while the world’s ecology shifted.  The realm became overwhelmed and finally collapsed.  Years after the collapse, the world’s population was reduced to a few scattered villages. 

—The Fading Shield—

            The barrier the wizards had created several millennia ago to trap the monsters, had weakened.  Creatures from the dark world suddenly appeared throughout the other world in what would be the first of many after effects of the wizards’ time and space manipulation.                

            While the shield was dissipating,  a village of powerful spellbinders experimented with time and space, much like the wizards before them, but was cut short when their village fell under attack.  A couple then used the magic they created to send their only child into another realm as their last hope to save the world…  

—A Hope Transcending Worlds—

            Though the boy is only about 10 years old, he was taught in the arts of a magician and had developed the skills of a warrior.  As the hero awakens, a new chapter is about to be written on the ongoing struggle between good and evil…
