Washcloth Bunny
you will need:
- 1 wash cloth
- 1 rubberband
- 1 hard-boiled egg(decorated)
- 1 set of eyes
- 1 piece of ribbon
Directions:
Fold washcloth in half to form a triangle
Roll the cloth from the large end to the small tip(tightly)
Wrap around egg
Fold lose ends back to form a ball in center where both ends meet
Wrap the rubberband around the ball to secure
The ball is the face of the bunny
Glue the eyes onto the face
Wrap a piece of ribbon around the rubberband
Easter Egg Pin
you will need:
- 3 sponges
- paint
- egg stencil(small)
- 1 pin back
- 1 piece of ribbon
- glue
Directions:
Cut sponge in half the long way, so it is thinner, you may need sharp sissors to do this
Trace the shape of the egg onto the sponge, use 3 different
size eggs(sm, med, lg) for each sponge
Paint the sponges, each a different color.
As soon as the eggs are dry, glue them on top of each other,
largest to smallest. Then, glue the pin back onto the back of the large sponge.
Glue the ribbon onto the bottom of the smallest egg.
Balloon Easter Eggs
you will need:
- 1 balloon
- liquid starch
- large paint brush
- Crochet Thread
Directions:
Cover the whole balloon with liquid starch using a paint brush.
Wrap thread around balloon in one direction.
Apply another layer of starch on top of thread.
Wrap thread around ballon in a different direction.
Apply another layer of starch on top of thread.
Repeat above process two of more times until balloon is covered with thread.
Hang balloon to dry for 24 hours.
When balloon is dry, cut a hole to place grass and candy in, then decorate the outside of hole with lace.
Tissue Paper Eggs
you will need:
- colored eggs
- tissue paper
Directions:
Get the eggs wet and place different small colored pieces of tissue paper on eggs. Set eggs to dry. When eggs are dry, the tissue paper will fall off. You will then have colored eggs from the tissue paper color that stayed behind
