Valentine's Day Crafts
Valentine Bunny
you will need:
- Baby Food Jars
- Cotton Balls
- Construction Paper
- Glue
- Scissors
Directions:
Fill the baby food jars with the cotton balls
Cut out one large heart from the construction paper
(a little bit taller and wider than jar)
Cut one med size heart and two small hearts
Glue large heart on back of jar(to represent ears)
Glue med size heart on bottom of jar(represents feet)
Glue two small sides on both remaining sides of jar(to represent hands)
Glue cotton ball on back of jar for tail
Draw a face on large heart
Valentine Pins
you will need:
- Heart Shaped cookie cutters
- Homemade play dough
- Wax Paper
- Pin backs
- 1/4 cup flour
Recipe For Play Dough:
1 cup flour
1 cup warm water
2 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp oil
1/4 cup salt
food coloring
Mix all ingredients, add food coloring last. Stir med. heat until smooth. Next, knead until blended. Put into air tight container.
Directions for Pins:
Roll dough onto wax paper, about 1/4 inch thick
Dip cookie cutter into flower to prevent stickyness and cut heart shape
Push pin back onto damp dough
Allow to dry for 24 hours
Paint or decorate as desired
