Love is all around me
Couples so in love
Hand and hand they wander
As if their love was sent from above
I too, had such a love once
I too, knew the joy of true romance
But for now I sit alone with my memories
For now I must sit out this romantic dance
Do not look on me with pity
Do not look on me with sadness
For the love I once knew was great enough
Continues but now is on hold in heaven above
Again, do not be sad for me,
I again will walk hand in hand with my love
In a land where we will never grow old
We will share once again, the joys of old
Only then we will be able to walk the streets of gold
We will listen to the heavenly voices and smell the sweet
Sweet fragrances of flowers that will never fade
When we meet again in this heavenly place,
we will know of a love most complete .
