Charles H. Curttright
Charles Halison Curttright, the son of David J. Sr. and Frances C. Curttright; was born near Anamosa, in Fairview Township, Jones Co., Iowa, on June __, 1871, and died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Nick DeLosh in Olin, Iowa, Nov. 13, 1937, at the age of 66 years, 5 months and 9 days.
At the age of 2 years he came with his parents to Olin and grew to manhood in this community, respected by those who knew him. When a very young man he united with the Christian Church and kept a steadfast devotion to that faith to the end.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Mary, of Cedar Rapids, five children, Floyd of Oklahoma, Mrs. Nina Stahl of Lisbon, Herbert of Cedar Rapids and Earl and Charles at home, and one grandson. Also three brothers, George of Monticello, David J. of Olin and Harry of Cedar Rapids.
He was a kind and loving husband and father, working hard and doing all he could to make his loved ones happy as long as health permitted.
Funeral services were held at the Stuart Funeral Home in Olin Monday afternoon with Rev. Lloyd Dutro, pastor of the United Brethern church in charge. Burial was in the Olin cemetery.
