Mary Alvira Oldham

Mary Alvira Oldham is the daughter of Jesse and Susan Oldham. She was born on May 12, 1820. She married Isaac Joshua Jarvis, son of Joshua Jarvis and Polly Burk, on August 27, 1846. Mary and Isaac had nine children. Mary died on May 19, 1888.

This photo was in the possession of Ira Messinger, her great-great-grandson. It was identified by Dee Jarvis, her great-grandson. Mary Alvira's right hand is deliberately placed behind her in this photo as her right hand is damaged.

Dr. Isaac Marion and Mary Elizabeth Shepherd Minton. Mary Elizabeth is the daughter of Amanda Oldham Shepherd. They lived their entire lives in Fortescue, Missouri. Photo identified by Elizabeth Burnsides - great-granddaughter.
