You have reached the homepage of the James E. Taylor High School Band, from Katy Texas! We invite you to look around and see what you think of this site. The overall purpose of this site was to inform the few amount of people that would come here about our band. Also, to provide a little bit of comic relief. Please consider all the hard work put into this site, and look around for a while. Sign the guestbook too!
So what if our football team stinks! The JET Band always shows up the band from the other school. We are one HUGE marching band. Last year, we could barely fit all 300 of us on the field for Second Suite in F, but somehow we did it, and all of our performances were spectacular. This year, expect the same great stuff from us, Jazz Revue Two is really going to be good.
When spring time rolls around, the band does not stop working. All five our bands concentrate on their UIL contest music, as well as events like solo & ensemble contests. Also, let's not forget the spring trip. It is everyone's favorite part of band, especially the bus rides. (Why does everyone think they are so fun?) Last year the trip to New Orleans was a total sucess! We look forward to even a better expierence at Dallas next spring.

Special Thanks and Disclaimer
Please remember that this page is "unofficial". We only say this so that people cannot blame anything unapproiate at this site on the web-mastering staff of Taylor High School, or of the band directors. They did not make this site, it was put together by a small group of students that really love band.
This page was put together in a hurry, so there are probably a few mistakes. In fact, there are probably a ton of things that could be fixed. Sorry for the bad spelling.
Thanks goes to anyone that deserves it. That is basically anyone that helped with this project. Special thanks to Mae for the pictures and Tim for the calendar.
