Run from the shadow of failures kiss.
Need more than a near miss.
If you watch each day, slip away,
Time to fly, you can not stay.

Raise your glass each year in praise,
Hold your head high for all of your days.
Spare not a prayer? grow from it.
Build your strength, never quit.

May every fall, spring, and summer,
Prepare you for winter.
May every fall, sprain, and bummer,
Prepare you to be a winner.

But mainly you'll see,
How good you can be.
So practice your grin,
In time you'll win.
