Each square on graph represents one single crochet. Materials:
Small amount of blue ww acrylic yarn
ch 31. Sc in 2nd chain from hook. Sc in each ch across. ch 1turn
Finish off
Using Size C Hook and #10 thread ch 4.
Small Stars (make 7)
Using #7 steel hook follow the same directions as for Lg Star.
Lg Star is placed in the top right hand corner.

#7 Steel Hook
Size C Hook
Continue to single crochet until you have 28 rows.
Large Star
Sl st to join forming ring.
chain 3 (first dc) 14 dc in ring.(15 dc)
Sl st to top of ch 3 to join. Ch 5
*Skip next 2 stitches, sl st in next stitch. Chain 5. Repeat from * around. (5 chain 5 loops)
* Sc in first 2 chains of next 5 chain loop. 3 dc in next ch. Sc in next 2 chains. Sl st in the same sp as previous sl st .Repeat from * around. sl st to join. Finish off. Weave in ends.
Star Placement:
Follow the picture of the flag to place the small stars.

Yarn Needle
To make the X chain 20 (I think ) turn and sc in each ch across. Finish off (Make 2)
To place the X on the square put one sc strip in place and use white ww acrylic yarn, and sew with an x in places as shown in picture.
