let the silence speak for me;
let my mind play what it wants you to say -
but never wants to hear.
let me bury myself behind a wall of quiet,
only to escape everything you don't feel,
and everything I don't want to feel.
stop these circles that always seem to
find their way back to us,
and let the war of peace place itself between us.
burn this unsure love for what it never was;
and tuck away these dreams in our picked pockets.

that were meant to paint my heart onto
