Why do we hurt our loved ones?
Is it because we don't like
hurting our friends.
Maybe because we are afraid
of losing a friendship.
When we are with our loved ones,
we don't like to play around nor joke.
And yet, we get our feelings hurt.
When we are with friends,
they to have a way of hurting us.
But yet, we take the horseplaying,
the shame, the hurt.
With our loved ones we don't.
Friends come and go.
But yet, true friendship
of a loved one lasts forever.
So, give a loved one a hug today.
Tell them that you love them
in a special way.
For they are our true friends.
For their friendship
will never fade away.
