And our loved ones
look forward
for that special gift day.
We tend to share our feelings
with one another
though it may be
for a laugh
or a sorrow
or just a call to a loved one
just to make their day.
All in all
we carry that gift with us
in our hearts
and deep in our souls.
God has given us something
that we tend to put aside.
The most precious gift
that He has given us
is our love
to share with one another.
This is my gift of love to share.
