Punk
What is punk? I don't think there is just one true definition of punk. Well, it's not how you dress or what you do or what music you listen to. Punk is a way of life.....It's knowing that there are a lot of corrupted people in this world who care about nothing but themselves and they'll step all over you if they have to. It's about unity and the end of rascism, bigotry and ignorance in our society. Just about every punk band in history has preached this philosophy and I know that a lot of other "punks" out there would disagree with it, cuz it makes punk sound wussy and not as violent as a lot of people make it out to be. But those are the people who are missing the point.
Punk isn't all the "break-your-face for no reason" shit that a lot of people seem to believe. Listen to the words in punk music.......they preach togetherness and unity and anti-rascism.....And personally, I think that is what punk is all about......
I hate the people who go to punk shows for stupid reasons. For example, one night at a club I noticed a few girls in the bathroom putting on pounds of hairspray and layers of makeup, all to impress the band the thought was "cute". This shit is pathetic. I hate the people that pretend to be way into the music when all they really want to do is meet a cute punker person and they really don't know shit about the music. I dunno, that kind of stuff just really pisses me off......
